About event
The Lviv Culture Hub together with pianist Marta Kuzii is launching a series of public events dedicated to Lviv’s classical music cluster. The building at 6 Kniazia Romana Street in Lviv has witnessed generations of prominent Ukrainian musicians, yet over time the memory of these figures has gradually faded. The mission of the project is to shed light on important names in the world of the intangible art of music.
The project is built at the intersection of a lecture series and live performance. Accompanied by videos from the Urban Media Archive collection of the Center for Urban History, Marta Kuzii will perform music and speak about composers and pianists who lived, created, or visited Lviv.
The first event in the series is dedicated to Mykola Lysenko.
📍 On 30 May at 5:00 PM, we invite you to “The Walls Remember: Mykola Lysenko” — a conversation and live performance that reintroduce the composer and his musical presence within the context of Lviv.
📍 Lviv Culture Hub, 6 Kniazia Romana St., 2nd floor
📍 Free admission with registration.
