"Focus Forward": Business Intensive for Veterans Launches!

Training has officially begun at the Lviv Culture Hub as part of Focus Forward, a business intensive programme in photography and video editing for veterans and members of their families.

Over the coming months, participants will develop practical skills in the cultural and creative industries through one of two study tracks: photography or video editing. In addition, all participants will take part in a shared creative entrepreneurship module focused on self-employment, starting and developing a business, and navigating today’s cultural and creative sectors.

The programme combines technical training with intensive hands-on practice, work on individual projects, and the development of a professional portfolio. Training sessions will take place at the Lviv National Academy of Arts and the Lviv Culture Hub.

During the first session, participants met one another, the project team, and the instructors, while also receiving a detailed introduction to the programme structure, curriculum, and the next stages of the intensive.

The programme is implemented by the Lviv Culture Hub within the framework of UNESCO’s programme, in partnership with the Open Academy of the Lviv National Academy of Arts and Impact Business Hub, with the support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
